Who We Are

Sam Jones has been in the investment business since 1982. Having worked for the major New York Wall Street firms, Sam has chosen the course of independent advice.  Sam has completed the course at the College of Financial Planning, achieving a degree in Investment Strategies and Portfolio Management in 1988. Sam has won several awards for achievement and community service.   In 1992 and in 1993 Sam was awarded the Quality Service Star Award from West One Bank.  In 1994 Sam was awarded "World Class Cub Global Investment Specialist" in recognition of outstanding leadership and commitment to achieving standards of excellence. In 1995 Sam was nominated as Investment Officer of the Year for West One Bank.  Sam is a Past President of International Association For Financial Planners of Northern California.  Sam was a Portfolio Manger for Oregon Pacific Banking Co. in Florence, Oregon for four and one half years before starting his own firm in February of 2004.  Pacific Asset Management of OR LLC was formed to streamline his business and maintain low cost for his clients.
